Puffa
For over 35 years the name Puffa has been synonymous with British sporting excellence, providing a unique combination of lightweight warmth, classic style and durability. The original duvet quilting.
Puffa was first created by Penny Rogers in the early 1970s. Inspired by quilted jackets she had seen on her travels to Canada and US, Penny set to work to design a small collection of jackets made initially from eiderdown quilts.
Throughout the 70s and 80s Puffa became the 'must have' jacket for the cogniscenti not just because it was functional, warm and durable, but also because it was fashionable to be wearing one both in the country and around town.
The pioneer of quilted clothing, Puffa's principles of outstanding quality and innovation still hold true today.
The Oxford University Ski Teams have been supported by Puffa in 2009/10. First Team Skier Ed Grieg Gran reported " the jackets were superb and were extremely warm in the sub zero temperatures experienced in early December".
